The LEGO Star Wars Death Star II is an excellent version of the second Death Star that was seen in the 3rd Star Wars movie Installment – Return of the Jedi. It was positioned just off of the atmosphere of Endor where it was being renovated from being damaged after the huge offensive attack from the Rebel Alliance. Likewise, the Lego edition of the Death Star II is build to symbolize the same re constructive situation.
The LEGO Death Star II set contains 3,417 pieces. This set is designed for serious LEGO fans that have a skill for a serious LEGO dare. Many people report taking up to 3 solid weeks of building it and that’s at a quick tempo. This Lego set is not recommended, if you do not have any Lego building experience. It is a lot of fun, but it takes a great deal of time to construct. Take your time, because a lot of people report having so stumbling blocks along the way. 
The Lego 10143 will cost you $349.99 depending on the availability and where you get it from. Whether you’re an admiring Star Wars fan, a LEGO buff, or someone somewhere in between then I highly recommend picking one of these up. Be sure to categorize your pieces because at over 3,400 pieces to contend with, you better be sure you cover all the organization bases.

Building the Death Star II The assembly took about 10 hours total over the course of 3 days. Video was captured directly via firewire from a Panasonic mini DV camcorder with a program called WinDV.
